AZ Wags...

Were still here!  I have been such a slacker in writing...Its been over a year, but since Ryan's parents are now living out of the country and we have other family members that live out of state, I need to be better at keeping you all updated.  Especially since we deleted our Facebook accounts... 

This post is going to be pretty boring, just some updated pictures of the boys.  Sorry, a lot of them are kinda blurry. My subjects were moving, and they were all taken with the iPad.  I have more on my camera that I will post soon!     

Enoch and Emmitt LOVE to play together.  They both will love it when Emmitt is mobile. 

Enoch loves hugging Emmitt, he usually laughs whenever Enoch hugs him.

They both think that they are pretty funny...I can already tell that they are conspiring against me...

Ignore all the laundry on the counter in the back round, also Emmitt's eyes are now less cross eyed. :) 

Ryan is starting them both early...I really love this picture though, it cracks me up how attentive Emmitt looks while watching the game.

Literally, all the time.

He's a very happy baby!  He really is so fun, he is starting to get quite the personality.  He is SUCH a good sleeper too, he goes to bed at 7 and wakes up somewhere around 8 sometimes close to 9.  Its pretty nice. :)

This picture is really blurry it was so funny though!  Enoch put it on Emmitt's head after, but I didn't get the picture fast enough. 

And to end this post, here is Enoch in timeout! He walks over there by himself when I tell him timeout...its funny.

This boy loves his dogs!

I realized the other night a year ago if Ryan or I were telling a story it was very likely that it was just about one of our dogs doing something funny, but now we have a baby that we can tell stories about!  So I think people enjoy talking to us more now that we have slightly more variety in our conversations. Just a thought.  :)

Now that the weather has been nice I have been able to have the front door open with just the screen closed letting the fresh air in, and Enoch and the dogs LOVE it!  All four of them just sit there and stare outside its cute.

Since Enoch also has no older siblings or other kids that he is constantly around to look up to yet for his next developmental milestone, he now crawls around with his toys in his mouth like the dogs do...

He chases the dogs everywhere, and when he isn't chasing after them they are usually following him.  :)  

He likes to play tug-o-war with Molly.  

Likes to crawl under Molly.  

And he likes to play with Molly's other toys as well.  :)

This is to see who actually reads our blog.  Ryan and I are expecting our second child in May.  I am 7 weeks pregnant and very excited:) as is Ryan:) The End.

First Haircut!

This post is a couple weeks late, but Ryan gave Enoch his first haircut.  He was looking a little shaggy... :)  It was so cute!  We just threw a big sheet on our bed, Ryan got his clippers and buzzed away...

He was very intrigued with the clippers.  Especially when they were turned on...

He kept trying to move his head to follow the clippers.  Ryan did such a great job, he was very patient!

I think he grew a little tired of sitting there.  But he still did such a great job!!

Scorpions!!!

Since we have lived in this house we have only encountered two scorpions...which I think is pretty good, it averages out to a little less than one scorpion a year.  So last night I went to a baby shower for a lady in our ward, and two of the sisters in our ward were telling me that both of them just found scorpions in their houses.  One of them was a huge one and the other was a little one but it happened to sting her two year old daughter.  Her daughter is okay, just a painful sting!  So I came home paranoid that there were was going to be a scorpion in our house and I was even more paranoid because Enoch is crawling now and he is all over!!

So last night Enoch got up at around 5:00am, which he generally doesn't do, I think he may be going through a little growing spurt so he is needing a little snack around that time and then goes back to bed.  So I got up with him and got him a bottle and then I went to the back door to let the dogs out...Molly was staring searching for something at the corner of our fireplace right were Enoch's play mat is and highchair...I brushed it off and shoo-ed her out the door to go to the bathroom.  I looked over in that spot and couldn't see anything the first thing that popped into my head was oh no there is a scorpion.  Molly quickly used the bathroom and then hurried back to the sliding door and just sat there staring at that corner, whimpering because she wanted in.  As soon as I let her in she hurried to the corner again.  This time I followed her over there, and she had a little scorpion cornered by the fireplace!!!! Ahhhh!!! My paranoia came true!

There was a little gap between the floor and the baseboard that it went under and only its claw was sticking out, trying to pinch Molly. So I put Molly back outside.  How was I going to get this thing to come out so it can meet the fate of my shoe?? I really don't know why I didn't just go wake up Ryan right then, because truth be told I didn't go get a shoe I am terrified of bugs they freak me out, so I just grabbed a can of Lysol and hoped something great (such as the scorpion dyeing) would happen when I sprayed it under the baseboard.  Nope!  It just looked irritated and moved a little.  So I woke up Ryan. :)  He was thrilled...I stood at our bedroom doorway and said, "babe, wake up!"
Ryan: "Whats wrong?" eyes still closed.
Me:  "There is a scorpion! My fears came true!" (I told him about the scorpions at the houses of the people in our ward.)
Ryan:  "Well what do you want me to do about it?"
Me: "Kill it!"
And he courageously got out of bed ready to bring death upon this scorpion.  And he did! :)  That's one of the many reasons why I love him, he kills bugs for me.  Thankfully Molly saved the day and spotted it.  I don't know how she did but she did!  Now hopefully we wont encounter any more scorpions for atleast another year.  But Im pretty sure that there is a conspiracy underway between scorpions and the members of our ward.  Three of us finding scorpions in our houses all in the same day/night...coincidence?  I think not!    

Utah!

So as always I am a little late on my blog updating...A couple weeks ago we went up to Wyoming with Ryan's family, and we were able to fly up a few day early and spend some time with our Utah family.  I am so glad that we were able to it, it was nice to be able to visit with everyone and for Enoch to meet his Utah family!

One of the afternoons that we were there we were able to go visit with Ryan's grandma and grandpa Smith, Enoch's great grandparents!  We had a very nice visit.

We stayed in the basement at my great-grandpa Don's house with he and my grandma Sherrie.  It was a lot of fun.

This was pretty much the afternoon and nightly routine...if only you could hear how loud the TV was in the backround since grandpa Don is getting a little hard of hearing... :)

We were able to go over to Aunt Debbie's house and Marci's house to visit.  Enoch got to meet all of his little cousins.

Coronado!

Last year while I was pregnant I won a trip to the Hotel Del Coronado, on Coronado Island, in California (San Diego).  My family has been going there every summer for a really long time and I LOVE it there!  So I was so excited when I won!! The hotel has a giveaway every now and then and I have been entering to win since I was 18 and I finally won!!  Ryan had Good Friday off of work so we went the night before, and it was Enoch's first trip to the beach, and he HATED the beach!  It was too cold and windy for him I think, hopefully it grows on him as he gets older, because it is my favortie place. :)  And of course first his first trip to the beach I forgot my camera, so here are a few cell phone camera pictures!
